1951年生まれ東京工業大卒。

ロンドンインペリアル大学院卒業後、ミュージックライフロンドン、渡辺プロ、音楽出版でクイーン、ディープパープル、デュランデュラン、クラッシュ等担当した、まさに日本のUKロックブームの火付け役とも言える。
その後、イギリスVIRGIN MUSIC PUBLISHING GROUPに入社ペットショプボーイズ Basia, Swing Out Sisters等契約1987年、VIRGIN MUSIC IN AMERICA設立の為渡米。
VIRGIN MUSIC PUBLISHING 社長、VIRGIN RECORD AMERICAのCOOを務めたNirvana,Janes Addiction,Stone Temple Pilot 等契約後、日本人としては初のEPIC RECORDS AMERICAの筆頭副社長兼制作総責任者となり、オジー・オズボーン、インキュバス、コーン等担当。現在Sony Music Entertainment傘下のAntinos Management AmericaのCOO兼プロデューサー。LA在住。

Graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology and also from the graduate school at Imperial College London. He worked for Music Life London, Watanabe Production Co., Ltd., and was in charge at the music publishing business for Queen, Deep Purple, Duran Duran, Clash etc. He contributed very highly for UK rock'n'roll boom in Japan.

He then joined VIRGIN MUSIC PUBLISHING GROUP in UK and signed Pet Shop Boys, Basia, Swing Out Sisters etc. and then moved to US to establish VIRGIN MUSIC IN AMERICA in 1987. Made a great success as a President of VIRGIN MUSIC PUBLISHING, C.O.O. for VIRGIN RECORD AMERICA, signed Nirvana, Janes Addiction, Stone Temple Pilot etc. and then became the first Japanese Senior Vice President of A&R (also West Coast General Manager) of Epic Records US, overseeing projects for Ozzy Osborne, Incubus, Korn etc.

Currently C.O.O. and the producer for Antinos Management America, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment. Based in L.A.

11歳の時に、映画『ムーンウォーカー』を見てマイケル・ジャクソンの虜になる。
14歳の時、マイケル・ジャクソンの『デンジャラス・ツアー』を観たことで、マイケルのようなエンターテイナーになりたいと決意。その一心で19歳（1998年）で渡米。
大学に通いながらエンターテイメントの本場、LAにてダンスに本格的に取り組む。
2004年に、ビザの再申請の際、憧れのアーティスト、ジャネット・ジャクソンのバックダンサーオーディションに合格。
ジャネットの尽力で新しいビザが発給されることになるも、同時期にブリトニー・スピアーズのワールドツアーからもオファーを受ける。
その際、ジャネットより、「今後のキャリアのためには、ワールドツアー（ブリトニー）」に是非行くべきとのアドバイスから、ブリトニーのツアーに参加。同年、グウェン・ステファニー率いる「原宿ガールズ」に"MUSIC"というアーティスト名で参加。
ミュージック・ビデオ数作に出演したほか、ライブ・ツアー「Harajuku Lovers Tour 2005」のバック・ダンサーとして同行。

2009年、MTVのダンス番組『America's Best Dance Crew』シーズン3に、女性ダンスグループ『Beat Freaks』の一員として出演し準優勝。2011年、ブリトニー・スピアーズのツアー「Femme Fatale Tour」において、「トキシック」の振付を担当する。

2009年には．子供のころから憧れていたマイケル・ジャクソンの「THIS IS IT」のダンサーオーディションでファイナルまで残る。
本来、仲宗根梨乃は、男性的なマイケルのダンスが好きということもあり、女性としてだけでなく、友人と共に男性としてもオーディションを受け、結果、男性としても、女性としてもファイナルに残る。
その際、ファイナルオーディションに関しては、ケニー・オルテガから「女性として受けてほしい」と言われる。
男性としてオーディションを受ける模様は、THIS IS ITの特典映像にも収録されている。

アジアにおいては、2008年5月には、Youtubeで映像を見た関係者からのアプローチで、韓国の男性グループSHINeeのデビュー・シングル「お姉さんは本当にきれい（Replay）」でコレオグラファー（振付師）としてデビュー。
これをきっかけに、多くのK-POPアーティストの振付依頼をもらい、2009年には、少女時代のシングル「GENIE」の振付を行い、その後も数々の振付をおこなう。
彼女らの長い脚を生かした"美脚ダンス"が日本でも話題になり、その後、日本や台湾・中国など、アジアでの活動も開始。

2012年には、AKB48の「ギンガムチェック」や、SMAPのLIVE楽曲「HIKARI」の振付を行い、2013年には、Disney映画『オズ　はじまりの戦い』のジャパンプレミア（六本木ヒルズ）で、来日したサム・ライミ監督やキャストを迎える為の、パフォーマンスを行い、そのパフォーマンスに監督も称賛を贈る。
その他、PARCO主催の舞台「ASTERLISK」での主演や、AKB48・篠田麻里子の卒業ステージ（福岡ドーム）でも、ゲストとして出演するなど、活動の幅を広げている。

現在はダンサー、モデル、コレオグラファー（振付師）、また、The Beat Freaksのメンバーとして世界中で活動中。

Currently based in Los Angeles, and is active throughout the US and Asia.

At age 11, Rino saw the movie "Moonwalker" and became utterly captivated by Michael Jackson.
At age 14, she saw Michael Jackson's Dangerous Tour and set her heart on becoming an entertainer like Michael.
Determined to make her dream come true, Rino headed to the US at age 19 (in 1998).

In 2004 when her visa was up for renewal, Rino made it through the backup dancer auditions for Janet Jackson, one of her idols. Janet's efforts resulted in her visa being issued. During that same period she also tried out for Britney Spear's world tour, and got selected. Rino joined Britney's tour, after Janet urged her to go on the world tour for the sake of her future career. That same year, she joined Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Girls using the artist name of "Music." She appeared in numerous music videos, and accompanied Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers Tour 2005 as a backup dancer.

In 2009, Rino participated in MTV's America's Best Dance Crew (Season 3) TV show as a member of the all-girl dance group Beat Freaks, which made it to runner-up. In 2011, she handled the choreography for "Toxic" on Britney Spear's Femme Fatale Tour.
In 2009, she made a final stage at her life time idol Michael Jackson's "THIS IS IT" tour dancer audition. As she loved Michael's masculine dance style, she decided to participate in the audition not only for the female category but also for the male dancer category… which resulted that she made a final for both categories. Kenny Ortega, the tour producer, then asked her to proceed with the final audition as a female. Rino's auditioning footage male dancer category was filmed and embodied in THIS IS IT bonus DVD footage.

As to Asia, in May 2008 Rino made her debut as choreographer for Korean boy group SHINee's debut single "Replay" after someone with the group saw her on YouTube. This led to choreography requests from numerous K-POP artists. In 2009, she handled choreography for the Girls' Generation single "Genie," and has undertaken many other choreographic projects since then.

Her "beautiful legs dance" that made the most of the girls' beautiful legs became a hit in Japan, and she began doing projects throughout Asia, including Japan, Taiwan and China.
In 2012, she choreographed AKB48's "Gingham Check" and SMAP's "LIVE." Rino is currently active worldwide as a dancer, model, choreographer, and member of the Beat Freaks.

In 2012, she choreographed AKB48's "Gingham Check" and SMAP's concert track "HIKARI". In 2013, she performed at the Japan premier for Disney movie "OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL" and the movie director Sam Raimi and the casts presented there gave her high praise for her special performance. She also performed a main role for PARCO presented theatrical stage "ASTERLISK", appeared as a special guest at AKB48 Mariko Shinoda's graduation stage (at Fukuoka Dome) etc., just to name a few of her recent works. Rino is currently active worldwide as a dancer, model, choreographer, and member of the Beat Freaks.

早稲田大学在学中にR&B/SOULを主な対象として執筆を開始。アメリカやイギリスでの豊富な現地取材をベースとした評論活動、多数のラジオ・TV出演を重ね、若くしてその存在を認められる。

久保田利伸との交流をきっかけに90年代半ばから音楽制作に携わり、SPEED、MISIA、宇多田ヒカルのデビューにブレーンとして参加。その後プロデュースした平井堅、CHEMISTRYにミリオンセラーをもたらして彼らをスターダムに押し上げた。

2002年、日韓共催FIFAワールドカップ公式テーマソング『Let's Get Together Now』（Voices of KOREA/JAPAN）をプロデュース。韓国で公式に放送された初めての日本語詞の歌となり歴史的な1位を獲得する。

また東方神起、Kといった韓国人アーティストの日本デビューに関わり、K-POP市場拡大の原動力となる。その他、プロデューサー、ソングライターとしてEXILE、JUJU、由紀さおり、三代目J SOUL BROTHERSなど数多くのアーティストの楽曲制作に携わり、シングルおよび収録アルバムの累計セールス枚数は3000万枚を超す。2003年、CHEMISTRY『Second to None』が年間アルバムランキング首位に。2008年、EXILE「Ti Amo」で第50回日本レコード大賞を受賞。

Kiyoshi started writing R&B/SOUL music during his college years in Waseda University. At a young age he was already getting nods of approval as he appeared on numerous radios and television as a critic based on his many experiences interviewing in the United States and United Kingdom. After meeting Toshinobu Kubota in the 90's, he became associated with music production and became the "brain" behind the debut of SPEED, MISIA, and Hikaru Utada. He later produced Ken Hirai and CHEMISTRY, creating million-seller hits and paving their path for stardom. He was part of the Japan debut for Korean artists such as Tohoshinki and K and became a driving power of the expansion of the K-POP market. He was also part of the music production as a producer and songwriter for EXILE, JUJU, Sayori Yuki and Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS. Single and album sales total up to more than 30 million.
