In 1992 we released our first video/laser disc "Kodo" on Sony Records, with pieces taken from a specially recorded Kodo performance on Sado Island. This video received the MIDEM Music Video (Long Form) Award at the 3rd International Visual Music Festival in Cannes. Kodo have also taken part in a number of television programmes and documentaries such as the BBC's 1991 World Music concept "One World, One Voice" as well as filming sessions for commercials.
