Born Tokyo in 1960, EPO's haunting soprano transcends time and place. finding for her an audience at home and abroad. She utilizes the power of her instrument, her 'voice' in experimental joint performances with a variety of other artists. She also performs as a 'nagashi' singer (cruising singer) as a part of her field work to discover that which is 'the basis of a singer'. She will be appearing with a small accompanying ensemble. Her latest album 'Soul Kitchen' will be released in March.
