TAMIO OKUDA / UNICORN
Tamio Okuda was a vocalist of former band UNICORN, consisted of five members and one of the best selling domestic artists of Sony Music Entertainment (Japan).
UNICORN has started their band career in 1986 and won the audition held by Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) in that same year, which led to their debut with the album "Boom" released in October, 1987 with sales reaching 330.000 units.
UNICORN gained enormous attention and popularity among live houses, gradually growing to sell out concert tickets at bigger halls such as Budokan.
Their first single " Daimeiwaku" released in October 1989 has entered nations best 10 with sales 233.000, followed by their third album "Hattori" sold over 477.000.
Each of the band members including Tamio Okuda has released a solo single in 1992, but continued to play as UNICORN until September 1993, when the band suddenly announced the break up and restart as solo artists. Their best album "The Very Best of UNICORN" w hich was released two months after the break up has sold ove r 748.000 as of today.
After the break up of UNICORN, Tamio Okuda suddenly found himself hooked on fishing, and he devoted most of his free time in fishing black basses. After a long break, he now plants to release his new single in late October this year.

ユニコーンは５人のグループです、それからソニー・ミュージックエンタテイメントのベスト・セリングアーティスト、日本の国内。
ユニコーンは1986年始まって、それから同じ年ソニー・ミュージックエンタテイメントのオーディションに勝った。
それから、初めのアルバムは「Boom」、1987年10月、初めてリリース。セールスは３３万枚。
ユニコーンは、本当に人気のあるローカル・コンサートに、だんだんもっと大きいコンサート・ホール、例えばブドーカンもっとに人気有名になる。

1992年、ユニコーンのグループは５人、オクダタミオさんと４人はソロ・シングルあります。だけど、1993年9月に突然解散まで活動をやりました。それから一人でソロアーティストになる。
ユニコーンのベストアルバムは「The Very Best of UNICORN」。リリースは解散の後に２カ月、セールスは1993年から今まで７４万８千枚。
解散してオクダタミオさんは長い休み、釣りに目が覚め、ブラック・バスを釣る
連続の日でした、でも、シングル今度リリースされます。
